Creating a Hosting Package

If you do not have any packages to be assigned to your users, or want to add a new hosting package, you can do that by following these steps from the WHM:
1.  Go to Packages > Add A Package

2. Enter a Package name. You can set any name you want here.

3. Set all the values and resources that you want to set for this package such as Disk Space, Bandwidth, etc. Do not leave any field empty and always keep in mind the resources allowed for your reseller package, and how much is already being used. You can not assign more than what resources are available to you.

4. Click on the “Add” button on the bottom of the page and the package will be created for you. You can now add this package to any cPanel user by following the above instructions.

Change Hosting Package to increase resources for the user

If your user has run out of disk space or bandwidth limit, you can increase their resources according to their needs.

You can change the disk space or other resources for a user simply by changing their hosting package.

To change the hosting package for a user, log into the WHM and go to Account Functions > Upgrade/Downgrade an Account Or you can also search for that option on the search box.

You will see a list of all the cPanel users on that server. Search and select the user that you want to modify and click on the Modify button.

On the next page, a list of all the packages created by you will be displayed. Select the desired package for that user and click on the Upgrade/Downgrade button, the package will be changed immediately.

That’s it! You have successfully created a new hosting package for your customer and assigned it to their cPanel account
