A domain is that address.

However computer doesn’t understand a domain name, the computer understands an IP address. An IP address is a unique identifier that is mainly a string or a number. It is very difficult for people to remember numbers, so domains are used instead of IP addresses for easy remembering. Domain names are usually registered as opposed to an IP address.
